Megan King is seeking election to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. She began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office where she supervised the child abuse unit. She later served as a clerk for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Thomas Saylor (R). In 2008, Meg served as an adjunct professor at Cabrini College, School of Graduate Studies. During that time, she received her Master of Arts in Education, earned her teacher certification in Pennsylvania, and taught at elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Chester, Montgomery and Delaware counties. In 2012, she returned to the District Attorney’s office as a Supervisor and Deputy in some of the most challenging units within the District Attorneys’ offices - Child Abuse, Elder Abuse, and Abuse of Care Dependent Adults.
In 2018, Meg was honored to be named the Pennsylvania Blue Ribbon Champion for Children, in recognition of her work to bring justice to defenseless child victims. Last Month she was asked by the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to serve as a special prosecutor and assist in prosecuting child exploitation cases arising out of Chester County.
