Andrea Cardamone is running for the Court of Common Pleas Office in Chester County. As a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School with sixteen years of public service as a front line prosecutor, several additional years of civil litigation experience, and as one of only three individuals voted “Qualified” by the Chester County Bar Association, Andrea Cardamone is strong candidate ready for action!
Andrea grew up nearby, in Lower Merion, and moved to Chester County sixteen years ago. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, then her law degree from the prestigious Harvard Law School. After she graduated, Andrea joined the Philadelphia office of Dechert LLP, a highly regarded international law firm. But in 2002, she left the corporate law world and joined the county District Attorney’s Office as a trial prosecutor. In addition to her courtroom work, she also works with First Assistant District Attorney to coordinate the investigation and prosecution of rape cases throughout Chester County.
Through her years in the DA’s Office, Andrea has developed a reputation among her colleagues as a dogged and smart prosecutor, among the defense bar as a fair dealer, among Common Pleas judges before whom she practices as a highly prepared advocate, and among county law enforcement as a champion of justice for the victims of crime.
Andrea is President of the Malvern Public Library Board, teaches occasionally at West Chester University, and is active in the Chester County community.
