Chester County Police Chiefs Endorse County GOP Candidates

WEST CHESTER – The Chester County Police Chiefs Association has endorsed the four Republican candidates running for countywide office this fall.

The candidates endorsed by the police chiefs include Jack London for Treasurer, Norman MacQueen for Controller, Robin Marcello for Clerk of Courts and Dr. Gordon Eck for Coroner.

This is the second major law enforcement endorsement for these candidates. All four were also endorsed by the Chester County Fraternal Order of Police, Pennsylvania Lodge 11 in August.

London, MacQueen, Marcello and Eck issued the following statement about their most recent endorsement:

“We are proud to have the endorsement of the Chester County Police Chiefs Association. The police chiefs are deeply involved in their communities and know how important it is to have elected officials who share their commitment to protecting our families. We value their support and the tremendous work they do for Chester County.

“We thank both the Chester County Police Chiefs Association and the Chester County Fraternal Order of Police, Pennsylvania Lodge 11 for their endorsements this year. To have their support for our campaigns is a great honor.

“Our police chiefs and police officers are part of the fabric of our communities, and Chester County is a great place to live because of their unparalleled service. We appreciate all that they do for our residents, and we pledge to work with them as county officials when elected this fall.”
