Neill Kling, Esq.
for Chester County Judge

Neill Kling is a seasoned corporate litigator with over 36 years of experience in Pennsylvania and Federal Courts. His distinguished legal career spans complex commercial and civil rights litigation, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to justice and the rule of law.

A lifelong Pennsylvanian, Neill was raised in Flourtown, Montgomery County, and has lived in Strafford, Chester County, for the past 31 years. He earned his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College in 1985 and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988.

Neill began his legal career at the respected firm of Pepper Hamilton & Scheetz, where he handled high-stakes antitrust, corporate, and securities cases. He also provided pro bono representation to inmates in the prison system, reinforcing his dedication to fairness and due process. In 1992, he co-founded Harkins Cunningham LLP, expanding his practice to include securities litigation, railroad merger approvals, attorney malpractice, consumer protection, patent licensing disputes, Title IX investigations, and property rights litigation for universities.

In 2019, Neill transitioned to senior counsel status and moved his practice to Tredyffrin, where he continues to litigate in state and federal courts. His broad legal expertise, combined with his dedication to applying the law as written, makes him an ideal candidate for the Chester County Court of Common Pleas.

Beyond his legal career, Neill is a devoted husband and father of four sons, ages 32 to 22. His deep roots in the community and extensive courtroom experience ensure that he will serve Chester County with integrity, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to justice.

Betty is honored to be endorsed by the Republican Committee of Chester County to run for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas. She accepted this challenge to give back to the community that she loves so dearly. Betty is a firm believer that all who avail themselves deserve a court that is safe, readily accessible and resolves their matters fairly and efficiently so that everyone leaves her courtroom with a sense of belonging in this beautiful county, having been fairly treated.

Betty brings to this role nearly thirty years of legal experience, including first-hand trial experience litigating complex commercial cases while an attorney at major national law firms and major international businesses. Betty currently serves as Founder and Principal of Betty A. Ryberg, LLC, where she advises clients on a broad range of business law, contracts, and litigation matters.

Betty holds a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University, and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Auburn University. Betty also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Executive Education’s Advanced Finance Program, and is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York, and the District of Columbia.

Betty lives with her husband, Phil Grant, and their two teenage boys in Chester Springs, where Phil grew up, and one boy attends and the other graduated from Downingtown Area School District public schools. Betty is active in Scouts as a Boy Scout Law and Horsemanship Merit Badge Counselor. Moved by motherhood, she served as a pro bono attorney in the Brooklyn Family Court helping unrepresented petitioners and respondents win support for children and parents. She was a member of the Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, property tax assessment appeal board and Quarry Park preservation committee. Betty and her family enjoy spending time preserving and restoring their own conserved property where they raise chickens, and hiking and working on Scout Eagle projects in Chester County’s beautiful parks and preserves.

Joe Lorusso is a financial professional, business owner, and community advocate running for Chester County Controller. With an MBA and extensive experience in finance, including owning an investment company, Joe brings a strong foundation in financial management and fiscal responsibility—crucial for overseeing the county’s finances.

Beyond his professional career, Joe has demonstrated his commitment to public service. He co-founded successful initiatives that preserved an acre of woodlands from clear-cutting, safeguarding Chester County’s natural spaces in Malvern. He also founded a public advocacy group in Malvern focused on budget oversight and pushing for efficient, effective government. His efforts reflect a steadfast commitment to fiscal accountability and the well-being of our community.

The role of Controller is critical to ensuring transparency and financial stewardship in our county. Joe is running because he believes Chester County deserves a leader who will prioritize smarter financial practices, reduce waste, and safeguard taxpayer dollars, ensuring that Chester County is an affordable place to live.

Joe believes leadership is about action, integrity, and accountability. As Controller, he will provide diligent oversight of taxpayer dollars, promote transparency, and work relentlessly to build a stronger, more prosperous future for Chester County.

Deana Wang is a business leader, community advocate, and longtime Chester County resident dedicated to public service.

Born and raised in China, Deana came to the United States in 1995 to pursue graduate studies, earning a master’s degree in organic chemistry from Baylor University. She began her career as an R&D scientist at GlaxoSmithKline, spending a decade in research before earning an MBA from Penn State Great Valley. She then transitioned into business, spending another 10 years in sales, marketing, and business development. Today, she works as a business consultant in the nutraceutical industry, helping companies grow and succeed.

For the past 16 years, Deana has called Chester County home, raising her family here and actively engaging in the community. Her son, a West Point graduate, serves as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, while her daughter is a sophomore at Conestoga High School.

Deeply committed to public service, Deana has twice run for the Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board and has served on multiple nonprofit boards. Now, she is running for Chester County Treasurer to ensure responsible financial management and protect taxpayer dollars. With her expertise in finance, business strategy, and leadership, Deana is ready to bring transparency, efficiency, and accountability to the Treasurer’s office.

As Treasurer, Deana will use her business expertise and financial discipline to safeguard taxpayer dollars, promote transparency, and ensure responsible fiscal management. She looks forward to serving with integrity and working toward a stronger, more financially secure Chester County.

Thomas Hatzidais

Thomas J. Hatzidais is a dedicated medical professional, business owner, and family man running for Chester County Coroner. He earned his RN/BSN from Gwynedd Mercy College and his MSN/CRNA from La Salle University, establishing a strong foundation in nursing and anesthesia. As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and owner of Kalos Anesthesia Associates, he brings over a decade of experience in high-pressure medical environments where precision, ethical responsibility, and compassionate care are essential.

Raised in an immigrant family, Thomas was instilled with the values of hard work, perseverance, and community service. He is committed to ensuring that every individual in Chester County receives the dignity, respect, and transparency they deserve.

As Coroner, Thomas will lead professionally, ensuring every case is handled with integrity, families receive clear and compassionate communication, and the office operates efficiently and accountably.

A proud Chester County resident, Thomas and his wife are raising their three children with the same values of hard work, faith, and dedication to the community.

Alissa McGrory, Esq.

Alissa McGrory is a highly respected legal professional and dedicated community advocate with deep roots in Chester County. A West Chester native, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Temple Law School in 2002 and built a successful career in litigation and legal advocacy.

Alissa began her legal career at Reilly, Janiczek & McDevitt (RJM), a prominent insurance defense firm in Philadelphia, where she gained a reputation for her sharp legal skills and professionalism. In 2004, she and her husband, Chuck, returned to West Chester to raise their family, which grew unexpectedly and joyfully with the arrival of quadruplets.

After stepping away from full-time practice to focus on her children, Alissa re-entered the legal field in 2011, joining KLM Attorneys in West Chester. She specializes in the preparation of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), working closely with attorneys and divorce masters daily. Her precision, attention to detail, and collaborative approach have earned her the trust and respect of legal and business professionals throughout the region.

Beyond her legal career, Alissa is deeply involved in the community. She serves on two nonprofit boards, volunteers with her parish, and proudly supports her now college-aged children. Known for her integrity, work ethic, and dedication to service, Alissa is committed to bringing transparency, efficiency, and accountability to the Clerk of Courts office.
